100hr Yin Yoga & Chinese Meridians Teacher Training

Yin Yoga is a very simple practice, on the surface. From the view of the casual observer, it may seem as if there’s not much going on, but from the practitioner’s point of view there is something deeply meaningful occurring on every level of experience.

Yin Yoga is not as much a style of Yoga as it is a way of practice. Many of the postures used are identical to postures in other, more active styles of yoga, but the approach is that of calm surrender and patient stillness. Within this stillness, the practitioner has the opportunity to observe experience, without interfering, in order to understand what’s teaming beneath the surface of ordinary awareness.

The Yin Yoga Teacher Training is a comprehensive program that will teach you not only the fundamentals of teaching Yin Yoga, from the gross to the subtle, but to also hold space and lead students into a deeper relationship with themselves.

E-RYT500, MA, Contemplative Yogi

Adam has been an unofficial student of contemplation and the mysteries of life since he can remember, but his formal training began around 20 years ago.

His initial meditation training was through a professor at Xavier University who trained in the Zen style of meditation of shikantaza. Adam later studied in Theravada and other Mahayana schools as well. Today his practice consists of both traditional Buddhist meditation techniques taught by the Buddha himself as well as Mahayana devotional practices taught to him by his teachers Kittisaro and Thanisarra.

Adam’s yoga practice is informed by his primary teachers, Sarah & Ty Powers, who have endorsed him to teach Insight Yoga. He have also studied extensively with Paul & Suzie Grilley, Joe Barnett, and Maty Ezraty, as well as many others.

In May of 2019, Adam earned an MA in the unique and highly regarded Mindfulness Studies Program at Lesley University in Cambridge Massachusetts.

For the past 6 years Adam has offered Yin Yoga teacher trainings, meditation, mindfulness, and yoga workshops, mentorship, and retreats, internationally.

“Adam’s gentle intensity enables him to share ideas and offer direction in a way that is so accessible and yet so powerful, whether he’s cueing an asana or sharing the history of Yin yoga or leading meditation. Everything and everyone is connected, and everything and everyone is important. Adam radiates love.”
